Class 97s

In this selection of pictures we take a step back in time to when there was little scenery on the layout and I ran a few class 97 hauled moves on it. It makes for interesting comparisons between posts around it to show how the scenery has improved the layout somewhat.

This corner of the layout tidied up very nicely and I was quite impressed with it, even with all its faults.

Under The Wires

The next area of the layout to see some scenery work was the section by the window. I had long deliberated on what I could make of this area of no mans land then I decided to have it as an area of overhead wires, even though electrics rarely see the light of day on my layout but at least I can now pose some under the wires if I wish. Spare space was made into an allotment area and it all blended in nicely eventually. Pix taken before ballast was laid and also moves us into a Midlands area theme based loosely on 1997 to 1999 and these pix taken in early 2017.

Southern Region Part Two Class 33s

Here we see a selection of photographs taken on the layout featuring Class 33s. Scenery coming along nicely but still a lot to do. But gives you an idea. Based around 1997/ 1998. Taken in 2016.
