Station Buildings Have Arrived

Another major goal achieved was finding buildings suitable for the station area, which one of my friends found on ebay. Needed a little bit of adapting to fit my layout but basically its fine. First thing was having to remove all the platforms to drill holes to put all the wiring in for the lighting. So things got a bit messy for a while and prevented me from running trains for a while, so I wasnt impressed for starters :(

Engineers Yard Lamps

One of the first major highlights for me was when the yard lamps were installed in the engineers sidings and these were the first photos that I took of them working. I was well chuffed :) Again, the layout has come a long way since these were took about five years ago now but it was awesome at the time.
